Panopeus, also called Phanoteus, was a Greek town of ancient Phocis near the border with Boeotia, on the road from Daulis to Chaeronea. The traveler Pausanias placed it 20 stadia from Chaeronea and 7 from Daulis, and the ruins near the modern village of Agios Vlasios, which match the distance from Chaeronea reasonably well, are identified as the site of Panopeus.
