Patos is a town and municipality in Fier County, Albania. The municipality was formed in the 2015 local government reform through the merger of the former municipalities of Patos, Ruzhdie and Zharrëz, which became its municipal units, with the town of Patos as its seat. Its population was 18,227 at the 2011 census across a total area of 82.59 square kilometers. It is the center of Albania's oil industry and lies about seven kilometers southeast of the city of Fier.
