Rantau Prapat is a large town in North Sumatra province, Indonesia, and the seat of Labuhan Batu Regency. The Bilah River runs through the town, which had 140,778 inhabitants at the 2010 census, rising to 170,462 at the 2020 census and an official mid-2025 estimate of 183,094.
