Roxas City is a component city and the capital of Capiz province in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines, chartered in 1951 as successor to the former municipality of Capiz and renamed for Philippine president Manuel Roxas. Its 2024 census population was 185,236, the largest in Capiz, and it is known as the Seafood Capital of the Philippines for its oyster and milkfish aquaculture.
