Safwa City is an urban center in the Qatif Governorate of Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province, with a 2022 population of 45,676. It hosts government departments, public utilities, educational institutions, and a healthcare center including Safwa General Hospital, and its Al-Zahra neighbourhood, also called Urouba, is described locally as among the Eastern Province's most desirable, with more than 1,200 residential units across 336 hectares. Residents work chiefly in education, healthcare, banking, mining, oil and gas, and commerce.
