Samicum, also called Samikon, was a town of Triphylia in ancient Elis, situated near the coast roughly halfway between the mouths of the Alpheius and the Neda rivers and just north of the Anigrus. It stood on a spur of a high mountain that approaches close enough to the coast to leave only a narrow pass.
