San Jose is a municipality and the capital of Dinagat Islands province, in the Caraga region of the Philippines. Created on November 15, 1989 through Republic Act No. 6769 and named for its pioneer Jose Ecleo, it had a 2024 census population of 26,735 across an area of 27.80 square kilometers. The municipality serves as the seat of the Philippine Benevolent Missionaries Association and is divided into 12 barangays.
