San Pedro de Macoris is a city and municipality in the Dominican Republic and capital of the province of the same name, among the country's ten largest cities. It is home to the Universidad Central del Este and is noted for producing professional baseball players at a particularly high rate; its municipal population was 217,523 at the 2022 census.
