Sapinuwa was a Bronze Age Hittite city at the site of modern Ortaköy, in Çorum province, Turkey, about 70 kilometres east of the Hittite capital Hattusa. It served as one of the Hittite civilization major religious and administrative centres, as well as a military base and occasional royal residence, and its palace is discussed in several texts found at Hattusa.
