Sikar is a city and municipal council in Sikar district in the Indian state of Rajasthan, serving as that district's administrative headquarters. It is the largest city of the Shekhawati region, which also includes Churu and Jhunjhunu, and is known as a major hub for competitive-examination coaching, sometimes called Rajasthan's Mini Kota after Kota, the country's leading such hub.
