Singaraja is a port town in northern Bali, Indonesia, seat of Buleleng Regency, with a mid-2022 population of 153,930 making it Bali's second-largest town. Made capital of the Buleleng Kingdom in the 17th to 18th centuries by King I Gusti Anglurah Panji Sakti and later Bali's Dutch colonial administrative capital from 1849 to 1960, it houses Gedong Kirtya, one of only two libraries of lontar palm-leaf manuscripts in the world.
