Siping, formerly known as Sipingjie, is a prefecture-level city in the west of Jilin province, China, with a total population of 1,814,733 at the 2020 census. It covers an area of about 14,323 square kilometers in the middle of the Songliao Plain, near the borders with Liaoning and Inner Mongolia.
