Solna, also called Solna Municipality, is a municipality in central Stockholm County, Sweden, just north of Stockholm City Centre, with the town of Solna as its seat. It is one of the wealthiest municipalities in Sweden and none of its area is considered rural, which is unusual for Swedish municipalities. It is the third-smallest municipality in Sweden by area, after Sundbyberg and Burlöv, and borders Stockholm, Sundbyberg, Sollentuna and Danderyd municipalities. It has two parishes, Råsunda and Solna. Solna Municipality is part of Metropolitan Stockholm.
