Szikszo is a small town in Borsod-Abauj-Zemplen county in northern Hungary, about 15 kilometers from the county capital of Miskolc. First documented in 1280, the former royal settlement lost its town status in 1866 and regained it in 1989, and it saw Hungarian victories against Ottoman and Habsburg forces in battles fought there in 1588, 1679 and 1848. The town is today home to the main factory of the energy drink maker Hell Energy Magyarorszag.
