Tagbilaran is a component city and the capital of Bohol province in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines, about 72 kilometers south of Cebu City. Chartered as a city in 1966, it is the site of the 1565 blood compact between the Spanish conquistador Miguel Lopez de Legazpi and the chieftain Datu Sikatuna, and its 2024 census population was 106,120, the most populous in the province.
