Taiynsha is a city in the North Kazakhstan Region of Kazakhstan and the administrative center of Taiynsha District, lying in the steppe south of Lake Shaglyteniz. It was known as Krasnoarmeysk from 1962 to 1997 before reverting to its Kazakh name. Its population was recorded as 12,418 at the 2009 census, down from 13,233 in 1999, with a later infobox figure of 11,422 for 2019.
