Tangerang is the city with the largest population in the province of Banten, Indonesia, located on the western border of Jakarta and bordered by the separate city of South Tangerang. A major industrial and manufacturing center within the wider Greater Jakarta metropolitan area, Tangerang hosts numerous factories and is also home to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Indonesia's busiest airport, within its surrounding area.
