Tanjung Balai Karimun, often abbreviated Tg. Balai, is the main town at the southern end of Great Karimun Island, part of Karimun Regency in Riau Islands Province, Indonesia. It forms a conurbation with the adjoining community of Meral to its west, and carries its full name to distinguish it from a differently sited city of the same short name in Asahan Regency.
