Tanjung is a town and administrative district on the island of Lombok in Indonesia West Nusa Tenggara province, serving as the capital of North Lombok Regency; its name means cape in Indonesian. The town holds a cattle market every Sunday and is home to both Buddhist and Hindu temples, including the Pura Medana, and it lies near waterfalls that draw visitors to the surrounding area.
