Tapaktuan is a town and administrative district in South Aceh Regency, in the Aceh province of Indonesia, and serves as the regency's capital. The district covers a land area of about 107 square kilometers, subdivided into 18 towns and villages, and had an official estimated population of 22,352 in 2023.
