Temnos, also called Temnus, was a small Greek polis of ancient Aeolis on the western coast of Anatolia, later incorporated into the Roman province of Asia. Its bishopric was a suffragan see of Ephesus, the province's capital and metropolitan see, and is still included in the Catholic Church's list of titular sees.
