Thurii was an ancient Greek city on the Gulf of Taranto in southern Italy, founded on or near the site of the renowned city of Sybaris, which it effectively succeeded. Its remains lie near Sibari in the Province of Cosenza, Calabria, within the Sybaris archaeological park, and in Roman times the settlement continued under the names Copia and Copiae.
