Tirat Carmel is a city in Israel's Haifa District, officially designated a city in 1992 after previously being classified as a town, with a population of 32,167 as of 2024. It stands on the site of the former Palestinian Arab village of al-Tira, a location that over its history came under the control of the Romans, the Ottomans, and the British among others.
