Tiszafoldvar is a town in Jasz-Nagykun-Szolnok County in the Northern Great Plain region of central Hungary, with 12,027 residents recorded in the 2002 census across 80.34 square kilometers. The town has Reformed and Evangelical churches and maintains sister city relationships with towns in Serbia, Germany, France and Poland, and it cooperates with other Hungarian municipalities whose names also include the word foldvar.
