Traralgon is a city in Victoria, Australia's Gippsland region, in the eastern Latrobe Valley, and is the most populous city in the City of Latrobe and the region. It recorded a population of 26,907 at the 2021 census over an area of 23.9 square kilometers, and sits on traditional Gunai and Kurnai land, having developed from European settlement beginning in the 1840s. Its economy shifted over time from agriculture to one driven by power generation, mining and paper manufacturing.
