Tuban is a town on the north coast of Java, Indonesia, in Tuban Regency, about 100 kilometers west of Surabaya, the capital of East Java. Tuban Regency borders Lamongan Regency to the east, Bojonegoro Regency to the south, and Rembang Regency in Central Java to the west. The town itself covers 21.29 square kilometers and had an officially estimated population of 88,128 in mid-2025.
