Turku is a city in Finland and the regional capital of Southwest Finland, located on the country's southwestern coast at the mouth of the River Aura. Its population is approximately 210,000, while its metropolitan area has approximately 320,000, making it the sixth most populous municipality in Finland and the third most populous urban area after Helsinki and Tampere.
