Uddevalla is a town in Vastra Gotaland County, Sweden, and the seat of Uddevalla Municipality. Located where the river Baveaan opens into Byfjorden, a fjord in the southeastern part of Skagerrak, it had a population of 34,781 in 2015, the largest town situated entirely within the historical province of Bohuslan.
