Vejle is a city in Denmark, in the southeast of the Jutland Peninsula at the head of Vejle Fjord, where the Vejle River and Grejs River and their valleys converge. It is the seat of Vejle Municipality and the Region of Southern Denmark, has a city population of 62,153, making it the ninth largest city in Denmark, and lies within Vejle Municipality, whose own population of 123,250 is the fifth most populous municipality in the country. Vejle is part of the Triangle Region together with the neighboring cities of Kolding and Fredericia, 110 kilometers north of Germany, 70 kilometers from Aarhus and 240 kilometers from the capital Copenhagen.
