Veresegyhaz is a town in Pest county, Hungary, within the Godollo district, situated in the Godollo Hills near the Cserhat range. The settlement first appears in the historical record as Vesereghatz on maps drawn by the Hungarian clerk Lazarus Secretarius between 1510 and 1520, and it had grown to a population of 21,039 by 2024.
