Warburg is a town in eastern North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, on the river Diemel near the point where Hesse, Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia meet. It lies in the Höxter district and forms the midpoint of the Warburger Börde, and since March 2012 has held the right to style itself the Hanseatic City of Warburg.
