Watampone, colloquially known as Bone, is a town in South Sulawesi province, Indonesia, and the capital of Bone Regency, covering 126.35 square kilometers with a population of 149,336 at the 2020 census, an official estimate of 151,554 by mid 2023. It is divided into three districts within the regency and is the birthplace of Jusuf Kalla, the 10th and 12th Vice President of Indonesia.
