Zabbar, also known by its historic name Citta Hompesch, is a city in the Port Region of Malta and the country's seventh largest, with an estimated population of 15,648 as of January 2021. Originally part of Zejtun, it was granted its honorific title by Ferdinand von Hompesch zu Bolheim, the last Grand Master of the Order of St. John to reign in Malta.
