Zhongwei is a prefecture-level city in Ningxia, China, with an area of about 16,986 square kilometers and a population of 1,174,600 in 2019. The city is known for its wolfberry and Gobi watermelon cultivation, and is home to the Tengger Desert Solar Park, one of the world's largest photovoltaic power stations.
