Zhuhai is a resort city on the west bank of the Pearl River estuary in southern Guangdong province, China, on the southeastern edge of the Pearl River Delta. It sits near Macau, borders Jiangmen and Zhongshan, and is connected to Hong Kong by bridge. The city name means pearl sea, reflecting its position where the Pearl River meets the South China Sea.
