Ljubljana

Ljubljana is the capital and largest city of Slovenia, on a trade route between the northern Adriatic Sea and the Danube region. Inhabited since prehistoric times, with a Roman city called Emona once standing in the area, it serves as the country's cultural, educational, economic, political and administrative centre.
