Historical and Former States of South America

A group of 2 former sovereign states that once existed in South America but no longer exist in that form today: the Viceroyalty of Peru and the United States of Venezuela. Each member state is attested by its own cited source and carries a SubLabel giving its historical dates and the region it occupied. Both member polities were centered on South America, so this group is anchored directly under the South America subregion, an exact rather than merely representative match.
