Lake Albert

Lakes

A lake on the border between Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, part of the Great Rift Valley's western branch and one of the sources of the Nile system through its outflow, the Albert Nile. It was named by the explorer Samuel Baker after Britain's Prince Albert.
