The Zamboanga Peninsula is a peninsula forming the western arm of the island of Mindanao in the Philippines, covering about 17,057 square kilometers. It is organized as the country's Region IX, made up of the provinces of Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay and Sulu, with Zamboanga City as its main commercial and industrial center.
