Kampinos National Park is the second largest national park in Poland by area, located in the Masovian Voivodeship on the northwestern outskirts of Warsaw. Established in 1959 and covering roughly 385 square kilometers of the historic Kampinos Forest, it is dominated by pine woodland interspersed with sand dunes and swamps, and was designated a UNESCO biosphere reserve in 2000.
