Ojcow National Park, in Krakow County in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship about 16 kilometers north of Krakow, is the smallest national park in Poland. Established in 1956 at an original area of about 14 square kilometers and since expanded to roughly 21 square kilometers, it protects a Jurassic limestone karst landscape holding more than 400 caves and exceptional biodiversity.
