Reisa National Park

Reisa National Park lies in Nordreisa Municipality in Troms county, Norway, established by royal decree on 28 November 1986 over 803 square kilometers. The Reisa river has carved a long fertile valley, Reisadalen, and a canyon north of Imo through the mountain plateau, with cascading waterfalls including the 269 meter Mollisfossen. Wolverines, Eurasian lynx and occasional brown bears share the park with abundant birds of prey, most commonly rough-legged buzzards alongside golden eagles, kestrels and gyrfalcons, and Sami communities have long used the area for seasonal reindeer grazing.
