Nikko National Park spans Tochigi, Gunma and Fukushima prefectures on Honshu, Japan, designated in 1934 after the area was named an imperial park in 1911, covering about 1,149 square kilometers. It contains the Nikko Toshogu shrine and Rinno-ji temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, alongside Kegon Falls, Lake Chuzenji and the volcano Mount Nikko-Shirane. The park is a popular destination for hiking, skiing, camping and hot spring resorts.
