Vansda National Park

Vansda National Park, also called Bansda National Park, is a protected area of about 24 square kilometers in Navsari district, Gujarat, India, established in 1979 along the Ambika river in the deciduous woodlands of the Dangs, land that has remained largely undisturbed since 1952. Classified under IUCN Category II, the park forest supports 443 recorded flowering plant species along with Indian leopards, dholes, rhesus macaques and spotted deer among some 155 bird species, and a 2020 sighting confirmed dholes in Gujarat for the first time in 50 years.
