Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park

Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park spans the municipalities of Enontekio, Kittila, Kolari and Muonio in western Lapland, Finland. It traces to national park protections first established in Finland in 1938 and was expanded to its current form in 2005, and at 1,020 square kilometers is the third largest national park in the country. Its landscape follows a roughly 100 kilometer fell chain rising out of boreal taiga forest, and it is the most visited national park in Finland by number of visitors.
