Biebrza National Park is a national park in Podlaskie Voivodeship in northeastern Poland, established in 1993 along the Biebrza River. Covering about 592 square kilometers, it is the largest of the national parks of Poland and protects one of the most extensive and least disturbed wetland systems in Europe, a mix of forests, fields, meadows and marshes. It shelters diverse wetland birds and mammals including elk and beaver, and was designated a Ramsar wetland of international importance in 1995.
