Arlington is a city in Tarrant County, Texas, part of the Mid-Cities region of the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington metropolitan area, with a population of about 394,000. It is a principal city of one of the largest metropolitan regions in the United States without its own rail transit system, and is known for hosting major sports and entertainment venues, including the stadiums used by the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers, along with a large amusement park.
