Bushy Park Tarapuruhi is a native forest reserve and bird sanctuary of about 99 hectares in the Manawatu-Whanganui region of New Zealand, roughly eight kilometres inland from Kai Iwi near Whanganui, protecting northern rata, rimu, tawa and pukatea forest. Landowner G. F. Moore bequeathed the forest and its homestead to the Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society in 1962, and since a predator-exclusion fence was completed in 2005 it has operated as a predator-free mainland island sanctuary run jointly by the Bushy Park Trust, Forest and Bird, and the local iwi Nga Rauru Kitahi; it was renamed Bushy Park Tarapuruhi, meaning place of abundant bird life, in 2019.
