The Isle of Muck is a tiny, closed-to-the-public island off Islandmagee on the east coast of County Antrim, Northern Ireland, lying between Larne and Whitehead near the settlement of Portmuck. It has been managed by Ulster Wildlife as a seabird sanctuary for at least 25 years, and a 2017 restoration project to remove invasive brown rats allowed puffins to be reintroduced in 2024, marking their return after roughly a quarter century of absence.
