The Limberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve is a publicly accessible private forest near Huntsville, Ontario, Canada, covering about 10,000 acres and containing 20 lakes with hiking, biking, skiing and snowshoeing trails offered free to visitors. Owned by the Haliburton Forest Group, it is managed under a Conscientious Forest Management approach that treats timber harvesting as secondary to recreation, using the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources' Single Tree Selection System, and it has been open to the public since 2003, hosting the annual Limberlost Challenge trail run since 2010. Its management received a Robert de Pencier Award for forest management and a Forest Stewardship Council leadership award, both in 2018.
